Understanding Dyspepsia Syndrome 

Dyspepsia syndrome or indigestion is a term to describe the discomfort of abdominal pain without a clear cause. The condition experienced is not due to a disease, but rather is a collection of symptoms of disease in the digestive organs. For ordinary people, dyspepsia syndrome is better known as stomach ulcers. Dyspepsia syndrome occurs when the amount of stomach acid increases and causes irritation of the stomach wall. Generally, someone who experiences dyspepsia syndrome experiences stomach pain and bloating. Even though this is not a serious health condition, never underestimate this syndrome. The reason is, if ignored it can cause other, more serious health problems. 


Causes of Dyspepsia Syndrome 

Apart from an unhealthy lifestyle, there are several causes that cause dyspepsia syndrome to attack a person, including: 

    Poor diet 

    Frequent stress and high levels of anxiety 

    Too often consuming caffeinated drinks 

    Excessive body weight (obesity)

    Smoking habit


Symptoms of Dyspepsia Syndrome

The initial symptoms of dyspepsia usually appear several hours after a person eats. Some of the symptoms include the following: 

    The stomach feels bloated and full after eating 

    An uncomfortable feeling arises in the pit of the stomach such as pain 

    The burning sensation in the pit of the stomach can even be felt up to the throat 

    Often feel nauseous and vomit 

    Feel full quickly 

    Frequent gas

How to treat dyspepsia syndrome:
