Don't ignore it, recognize the symptoms of hemorrhoids before they get worse

Hemorrhoids, also known as hemorrhoids, are a common problem that often occurs among people. Even though it is common, many people still feel embarrassed or reluctant to talk about it. Therefore, it is important to understand what hemorrhoids are, what causes them, and how to prevent and treat them.

Hemorrhoids are swelling or inflammation of the blood vessels around the anus or in the rectum. There are two main types of hemorrhoids, namely internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids.

Internal Hemorrhoids,These hemorrhoids are located in the rectum, so they are usually not visible or felt. The main symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bleeding during bowel movements.
External Hemorrhoids, These hemorrhoids occur outside the anus and can be visible or palpable. They tend to be more painful because the area around the anus has more nerves.

Several factors can cause or worsen hemorrhoids:

Excessive pressure, the pressure that occurs during hard and frequent bowel movements can cause swelling of the blood vessels around the anus.
Pregnancy and Childbirth, increased pressure on the blood vessels in the pelvis during pregnancy and childbirth can cause hemorrhoids.
Prolonged Sitting Habits, people who often sit for long periods of time, especially on the toilet, can increase the risk of hemorrhoids.
Family History, if there is a history of hemorrhoids in the family, then a person has a higher risk of experiencing them.

Symptoms of hemorrhoids can vary depending on the type and severity. Some common symptoms include:

Bleeding, and blood on the toilet paper or in the toilet bowl after defecation a common symptoms of internal hemorrhoids.
Itching or burning sensation around the anus. This can occur due to irritation of the skin around the hemorrhoids.
Swelling and Discomfort, external hemorrhoids often cause lumps around the anus that can be very painful.
Difficulty Defecating, severe internal hemorrhoids can cause difficulty defecating or a feeling of incompleteness after defecating.

Several factors can increase a person's risk of developing hemorrhoids:

Poor Bowel Habits, lack of fiber in the diet, not drinking enough, or delaying bowel movements can increase the risk of hemorrhoids.
Overweight, people with a high body mass index have a higher risk of developing hemorrhoids.
Age, the risk of hemorrhoids increases with age.

Prevention

Consuming Fiber, and eating foods high in fiber such as fruit, vegetables, and whole grains can help prevent constipation and reduce pressure on the blood vessels around the anus.
Drink Enough Water, consuming enough water helps maintain stool consistency, making it easier to defecate.
Regular exercise and physical activity can help improve the digestive system.

Hemorrhoids are a common problem that can affect anyone, especially those with certain risk factors. However, by understanding the causes, symptoms, and appropriate preventive measures, hemorrhoids can be treated effectively. If you experience serious or prolonged symptoms of hemorrhoids, immediately consult medical personnel to get the right diagnosis and treatment. often straining during bowel movements? hemorrhoid alert!

Has Hermina's friend ever seen bright red blood on the tissue or in the toilet during defecation?

Has Hermina's friend ever felt discomfort and pain around the anus?

Beware it could be signs and symptoms of Hemorrhoids.

What are hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids or better known as hemorrhoids or hemorrhoids is a disease that can attack the human digestive tract. This disease is caused by the descent of the anal cushion to the outside of the anus. The anal cushions consist of mucosa and blood vessels so that if they decrease they can cause swelling/lumps to bleeding.

What are the symptoms of hemorrhoids?

1. There is a lump or swelling around the anus

2. Bloody discharge from the anus during or after defecation

3. Irritation and pain around the anus

4. Incredible itching around the anus

5. Painful bowel movements

What causes hemorrhoids?

The main cause of hemorrhoids is blockage of blood flow to the rectum or anus, causing swelling of the blood vessels in that part. This condition can be triggered by several factors, including:

• Habit of sitting too long, especially when on the toilet.

• The habit of lifting heavy weights excessively.

• The habit of straining too hard during bowel movements.

• Prolonged constipation or diarrhea

How do you prevent hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoidal disease can be prevented by avoiding risk factors or triggers for the appearance of hemorrhoids. So to avoid the occurrence of hemorrhoids can be done by adopting a healthy lifestyle by:

• Eat foods high in fiber, such as fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts. High-fiber foods can help create bulk in the intestines, which softens the stool and makes it easier to pass

• Increase fluid intake, by drinking more water. This can prevent the stool from hardening and being difficult to pass, so you don't have to strain hard when you have a bowel movement.

• Doing physical activity and regular exercise

• Avoiding the habit of sitting too long, especially on surfaces that are too hard.

• Maintain cleanliness of the anus and rectum.

• Don't hold back the urge to defecate.

If Hermina's friends have complaints related to indigestion, especially when they show signs and symptoms of hemorrhoids, immediately consult a doctor so that they can be identified correctly and get the right treatment.

Overcome Hemorrhoids with PILA (Paran Injection and Ligation for Ambeien)

Sahabat Hermina, hemorrhoids are enlargement and shifting of the anal cushions towards the distal anus. Hemorrhoids can occur at any age, usually found at the age of 20-50 years in both men and women, but most often occur in people over 45 years of age. Ten million people in Indonesia suffer from hemorrhoids, with a prevalence of more than 4%. Men and women have the same risk. The risk of hemorrhoids increases with age.

Some of the risk factors for hemorrhoids include:

Low-fiber diet which results in constipation (difficult bowel movements).
Limited activity often sitting too long, prolonged use of the toilet, frequent straining, and obesity.
Women who have been pregnant and given birth also have a high risk factor for suffering from hemorrhoids.
Symptoms include itching, pain in the anal area, and bloody bowel movements.

In some patients, this bleeding is unknown, so it is not uncommon for patients with hemorrhoids to come with complaints of anemia. These symptoms, especially those that cause complaints during defecation, can cause a very uncomfortable condition for the patient.

Hemorrhoids can occur inside and outside. Internal hemorrhoids can be classified into 4 degrees of hemorrhoids:

In hemorrhoids in degree I where dripping blood comes out, pain when defecating, and can feel itching in the anus.
In grade 2 hemorrhoids there is a lump that comes out of the anus but can still enter spontaneously on its own.
In grade 3 hemorrhoids, you get a lump that comes out of the anus, but to return it to the anus you have to be pushed (for example by hand).
In grade 4 hemorrhoids, a lump comes out of the anus and cannot be put back in.

Currently, there are techniques for dealing with hemorrhoids without pain and without surgery. This technique is performed with a special tool that does not cause pain, does not cause bleeding, and this procedure is only performed for a short time. After the procedure, the patient is free to move without pain. The action is called PILA (Paran Injection Ligation for Hemorrhoids).

Paran Injection and Ligation for Hemorrhoids or called PILA is a therapy that combines injection of sclerotherapy agents with rubber band rigation or rubber ligation. The PILA system uses the PILA pack to treat hemorrhoids by injecting or tying the hemorrhoids without pain and without a knife.

Action Procedures with PILA

In carrying out the PILA procedure, the handling of hemorrhoids is carried out without carrying out surgery. This combination method aims to minimize pain in patients, reduce bleeding, and reduce the recurrence rate. The procedure itself is quite quick and short.

First the doctor will inject sclerotherapy fluid into the hemorrhoid lumps, then the PILA tool will absorb the hemorrhoid tissue up to the base and then bind it with a rubber ligase. Then, after the tissue is bound, the doctor will again inject sclerotherapy fluid into the hemorrhoid lumps. Hemorrhoid tissue that has been bound will shed and disappear by itself about 4 to 7 days after the procedure.

Well, a healthy lifestyle is a key step to preventing hemorrhoids. For example, eating fibrous foods, exercising regularly, drinking enough water, and avoiding excessive straining during bowel movements. Also avoid sitting for too long while working. and, for those who have already experienced hemorrhoids, there's no need to worry. Now at Hermina Jatinegara Hospital there is a technique for dealing with hemorrhoids without pain and without surgery. Stay healthy.

Hemorrhoids Disease and its Causes

Hemorrhoidal Diseases and Their Risk Factors

Hemorrhoidal disease or commonly referred to as hemorrhoids / hemorrhoids is a condition where the blood vessels around the anus experience dilation. Hemorrhoids can occur at any age, but are more commonly experienced by people aged 50 years or older. This disease is very common, 1 in 4 people in a population are said to have a hemorrhoidal disease.

Symptoms of this disease include:

Bright red bleeding after defecation (defecation)Itching around the anusThere is mucus or even feces left in the panties after defecationIn the vicinity of the anusThe protrusion that comes out of the anus, under certain circumstances can swell and cannot re-enter (prolapse)

The complaints of these complaints are certainly uncomfortable and greatly affect the quality of life , and make a person decide to seek help and even in some cases end up with an act of surgery.

Hemorrhoids Classification

There are two types of hemorrhoids, namely internal hemorrhoids (internal hemorrhoids) and external hemorrhoids (external hemorrhoids). In internal hemorrhoids, swollen blood vessels are not visible from the outside. Whereas in external hemorrhoids, swelling of blood vessels appears from the outside and feels more painful.

Based on their size and severity, internal hemorrhoids can be grouped into:

Degree one: a small swelling appears inside the walls of the anus and is not visible outside the anus
Degree two: greater swelling that comes out of the anus during defecation and re-enters by itself after defecation
Third degree: there are one or several small lumps hanging in the anus, but can be pushed to re-enter
Fourth degree – there is a large lump that hangs from the anus and cannot be pushed back

The theory regarding the causes of hemorrhoidal occurrence is strongly influenced by several risk factors and lifestyles today which we will discuss below.

High Body Mass Index (Obesity)

Several studies have found a link between hemorrhoidal disease and obesity. In people with obseity there will be several mechanisms in their body that are risk factors for the occurrence of this disease, including ; increased pressure inside the abdomen, dilation of the reverse blood vessels/veins, and chronic inflammation. To prevent the occurrence of hemorrhoids or even increase treatment efforts it is recommended to regularly evaluate the waist circumference (Waist circumference) and keep the Body Mass Index within the normal range.

Constipation

Constipation is a digestive disorder that makes a person defecate less than three times a week. Constipation, hard and straining stools during defecation increase the prevalence of hemorrhoidal disease, and can even cause prolapse (lumps out of the anus and not biased to re-enter) in a person who has already suffered. A balanced diet between foods high in fiber, sufficient water minur is strongly recommended so that the consistency of the feces is not hard and avoid straining during defecation.

Lifestyle

Sedentary lifestyle or lifestyle where a person lacks physical activity means that it is one of the risk factors for hemorrhoidal disease. In hemorrhoidal patients, it is recommended to carry out physical activity that can improve bowel movements, blood circulation and strengthen muscles in the pelvic and back areas, among others; jogging, swimming, yoga gymnastics. The exercises recommended to avoid include ; cycling, rowing, horseback riding or lifting weights. Sports activities are recommended to be carried out regularly for 20-60 minutes, 3-5 days a week.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a risk factor because in pregnant women there is often constipation and disorders of hemorrhoidal blood vessels / veins due to increased circulation and the hormone progesterone. Hemorrhoidal complaints will disappear on their own after childbirth. It is recommended to consume fresh fruit, vegetables and enough water during pregnancy to reduce risks or complaints.

Basically hemorrhoids are more commonly suffered at the age of over 50 years, but with a changed lifestyle and consumption of foods that lack fiber so that at the age of 30 years can suffer from hemorrhoids. In addition, to prevent hemorrhoidal diseases it is recommended to carry out a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle itself starts from consuming healthy and fibrous foods, such as vegetables, and fruits. Foods rich in fiber will make the volume of feces become larger and softer so that they can easily escape. Meanwhile, foods that are not recommended for hemorrhoidal sufferers are such as meat, foods that are too spicy and sour. In addition to fibrous foods, it is also recommended to drink plenty of water and exercise regularly.

For people with hemorrhoidal diseases, it is recommended to defecate regularly, hence a healthy diet is needed. If there is a change in bowel movement patterns, immediately see a general surgeon, because faster treatment is certainly better before going to the advanced stage. Meanwhile, patients who have performed surgery are expected to maintain their diet so that the disease does not reappear.

Ambeien
