During the session, Yulisar delivered a presentation titled "Collaborative Pharmaceutical Procurement Strategy for Sustainable Efficiency," highlighting the importance of transforming hospital procurement systems through collaboration, digitalization, and data integration to improve operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of healthcare quality.

In his presentation, Yulisar explained that today's hospitals face challenges not only from the growing demand for healthcare services but also from rising operational costs, particularly in the procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and medical devices. Through a collaborative procurement approach, hospitals can strengthen their bargaining power, secure more competitive pricing, ensure supply continuity, and streamline administrative processes.

"Collaboration is the key to building a procurement system that is more efficient, transparent, and sustainable. By consolidating the procurement needs of multiple hospitals into a single ecosystem, we can not only achieve greater cost efficiency but also strengthen governance and ensure a reliable supply of healthcare products," said Yulisar Khiat.

On this occasion, Yulisar also introduced the Collective Procurement Program managed by PT Medika Loka Manajemen (MLM). The program provides a single procurement platform for pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and medical devices, offering collective pricing, standardized governance, and simplified administrative processes.

Based on its current implementation, the program has delivered procurement cost savings of approximately 17% for pharmaceuticals and medical consumables, supported by a network of more than 200 registered suppliers.

In addition, PT Medika Loka Manajemen has developed a Member Portal that enables hospitals to manage the entire procurement process digitally—from product catalog browsing and multi-level approvals to purchase order generation, reporting, and audit trails. The platform can also be integrated with Hospital Information Systems (HIS), supporting the implementation of a Smart Hospital ecosystem driven by data integration.
