Hermina Talk of World Glaucoma Week
In commemoration of World Glucoma Week which is celebrated every second week in March, Hermina Padang Hospital with Ophthalmologists held a Health Talk activity or health counseling to patients on Saturday (18/3).
This activity was held in the waiting room of the poly and was attended by all patients who were waiting in the waiting room. Apart from being offline, this activity was also broadcast live on the official Instagram of RSU Hermina Padang. The lecture was delivered by dr. Mardijas Efendi, Sp.M and dr. Linda Wira Putri Sp.M, MM. The participants and patients were also given the opportunity to ask questions about glaucoma and other eye conditions that can cause glaucoma.
This activity is expected to increase patient awareness of glaucoma. Because glaucoma is an eye disease that can cause permanent blindness and cannot be cured.
