Karawang Hermina Hospital Supports Mass Circumcision Activities of the Karawang Clinic Association

Sunday, December 25 2022. The All Karawang Clinic Association held a Free "Mass Circumcision" Social Service which was held at Perum Citra Swarna Grande, Klari, Karawang. This activity is supported by Hermina Karawang Hospital. Hermina Karawang Hospital also contributed 50 parcels for the Mass Circumcision participants. For the symbolic handover the parcels were handed over by bd. Nara Annur Q from the representative of Hermina Karawang Hospital with Mr. Kabul as the representative from the All Karawang Clinical Association.

The benefits of this activity are that it further strengthens the relationship between clinics throughout Karawang. And also the benefits of circumcision for the participants, namely:

1. Health is more awake

People who have been circumcised will have the convenience of keeping themselves clean. With much better body hygiene in the genital area after circumcision, the body will be protected from germs and bacteria so it will be healthier.

2. Prevent disease

Urinary tract infections and phimosis are examples of diseases that can be prevented by circumcision. Having a severe urinary tract infection can cause kidney damage.

3. Reducing the Risk of Cancer

With circumcision, not only lowers the risk of prostate cancer and penile cancer. But also able to reduce the risk of cervical cancer in their partners in the future.
