Hermina Nusantara Hospital Supports World AMR Awareness Week Through DAGUSIBU Workshop Wise Use of Antibiotics at Home
Hermina Kemayoran Hospital also supports and participates in the global World Antiobiotic Awareness Week campaign through a workshop with the theme "DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Save and Dispose) Wisely Using Antibiotics at Home" which was held simultaneously at 46 Hermina Hospitals throughout the archipelago on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 .
"The main aim of holding this workshop is to increase awareness and understanding of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) or known by the public as the use of antibiotics through effective communication and education. This initiative is in line with the vision of Hermina Hospital, namely "Grow, Healthy and Live Long," said Dr. Tantiyo Setiyowati, MH. Kes as Head of the Medical Support Department of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk.
This activity is strategically designed for families of patients who are in outpatient clinics or in the waiting room for medicines at the pharmacy with speakers and moderators from PIC PPRA Pharmacy Pharmacists or Clinical Pharmacists as well as Hermina Hospital doctors. Hermina Kemayoran Hospital remains committed to its role in community health and welfare. Through DAGUSIBU, Hermina Hospital aims to empower families with the knowledge to “Get” (Obtain), “Use”, “Save” (Save), and “Dispose” (Dispose) of antibiotics wisely.
