Hermina Pasteur Hospital Receives the 2024 BAPETEN Award

BAPETEN, or the Indonesian Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency, is a state-owned enterprise that is given authority and responsibility through supervisory duties to minimize risks related to the use of nuclear energy in Indonesia. The Hermina Pasteur Hospital is one of the hospitals in Bandung City that was chosen to receive this award because it was considered successful in creating safety and security in radiology service activities at the hospital. The award received by Hermina Pasteur Hospital Bandung was in the category of Safety, Nuclear Security for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Activities. The award explains that Hermina Pasteur Hospital has excellent commitment and performance in radiation safety and radioactive source capabilities; the use of radiology equipment at Hermina Pasteur Hospital is safe and has obtained BAPETEN permission; the use of radiation protection in the radiology unit is in accordance with the standards determined by BAPETEN.
