CARE OF HEART PATIENTS AT HOME

A heart attack is a serious heart disorder when the heart muscle doesn't get blood flow. This condition will interfere with the function of the heart in flowing blood throughout the body. Heart attacks can cause death if not treated immediately.
Symptoms that sufferers of a heart attack can feel are chest pain, shortness of breath or heavy breathing, dizziness, anxiety, cold sweat, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain. However, there are also heart attack sufferers who experience no symptoms and immediately experience sudden cardiac arrest.
A severe or late heart attack can cause several dangerous complications. These complications include heart rhythm disturbances or arrhythmias, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and cardiac arrest.
Here are tips on caring for heart patients at home:

1. Regulate food intake

 Consume more fish

 Consumption of vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and nuts

 Choose the right fat. Reduce consumption of unsaturated fats and don't consume more than 7-10 percent saturated fats (butter, fried foods, sweet foods, and salad dressings). If you want to add fat, choose a fat that is high in monounsaturated fat or polyunsaturated fat ( for example canola oil, olive oil, or peanut oil).

Get energy by increasing your intake of complex carbohydrates and reducing sugar, carbonated drinks, and sweet foods or drinks.

 Less salt, more water

2. Exercise is highly recommended, but don't just choose

Avoid competitive sports such as running, football, basketball, tennis or badminton.

Types of exercise that can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease are walking, jogging, cycling and swimming. Do exercise at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes to an hour

3. Continue to monitor the course of treatment by routinely taking medication and checking with your doctor

4. Quit smoking

5. Control blood pressure

6. Control cholesterol levels Too much bad cholesterol, aka low-density lipoprotein (LDL) can increase the risk of heart disease.

7. Check for diabetes Diabetes is known to increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.

8. Control stress levels

Heart disease is a serious condition. For some people with heart disease, this is a condition that is difficult to accept. Give them support. Immediately take them to the emergency room if this happens:
