Gathering & Hospital Tour with URC Gojek Surabaya

On Saturday, 3 June 2023, Ubaya Hospital invited Gojek drivers who are members of the Surabaya Rapid Reaction Unit (URC) to attend the Gathering & Hospital Tour event in the Multipurpose Room lt. 9 Ubaya Hospital. Previously, Ubaya Hospital had done the same thing by inviting the Shopeefood Surabaya URC team on May 27 2023. Apart from the Gojek URC team, this event was also attended by dr. Rulli Prastikautsar as the resource person to convey information about First Aid in Emergency Services (PPGD). In addition to introducing the Ubaya Hospital to the public, the purpose of holding this Gathering & Hospital Tour is to provide education to the public, especially the Rapid Reaction Unit team in carrying out good and correct First Aid in an Emergency. Emergency First Aid is very important to do so that the layman understands and is alert in dealing with emergency patients so as not to worsen the patient's condition.

Not only listening to material, the Gojek URC team was also invited to practice directly in performing PPGD, namely basic life support in the form of cardiopulmonary resuscitation or what we often hear about is CPR. Not only that, the URC Gojek team was also taught first aid for broken bones. These two PPGD practices were hosted by dr. Rulli and dr. Made. The URC Gojek team drivers were very enthusiastic about listening to the material and participating in PPGD practice. They did not hesitate to ask questions and discuss with the doctors regarding PPGD. After doing the PPGD practice, the Gojek drivers were invited to do a hospital tour at Ubaya Hospital. The places visited were the Physiotherapy Room and the Emergency Room. In the Physiotherapy room, they are introduced to the tools and facilities that support patients in carrying out physical therapy. There they were also accompanied by physiotherapists at Ubaya Hospital. It's the same with IGD. The URC team was freed to ask the doctors and nurses about the facilities in the emergency room. After walking around, the hospital tour was closed with lunch together.
