MOW Free Surgery and Cleft Lip Surgery in the Context of Hermina's 38th Anniversary

The series of activities for Hermina's 38th Anniversary Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital held a social service, Saturday (18/3). The community care program that was held was MOW surgery and cleft lip surgery. And it was attended by the Mayor of Malang, Head of Malang City Health Service, and Malang City Government BKKBN.

Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji appreciated the social service carried out by Hermina Hospital. According to him, this is a good effort to increase public trust, especially in Malang City. The Mayor of Malang also emphasized that cleft lip is not a disgrace, he continued appealing to the public to take advantage of this free surgery moment at Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital.

The same thing was conveyed by the Director of Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital, dr. Gati Kusumo Budiani, according to him, cleft lip does not need to be hidden. According to him, this is a form of concern for Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital in increasing the confidence of cleft lip patients. Not only cleft lip patients, continued Doctor Gati, this social service also performs MOW or sterilization operations. This operation, said dr. Gati as one of the family planning programs.
