Vaccination for CHICKENPOX (Varicella)

🌟 Good news from RSIA HERMINA Mutiara Bunda Salatiga! 🌟 We proudly announce our vaccination service for Varicella, commonly known as Chickenpox. 🐔💉

Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by the Varicella virus. It spreads through airborne droplets or direct contact with the lesions or rashes it produces. However, with the right vaccination, we can prevent it!

Varicella vaccination is recommended to be administered in two doses. The first dose can be given subcutaneously at 12-18 months of age. Then, the second dose is essential and should be given with precise timing:
- For children aged 1-12 years: It's recommended to administer the second dose between 6 weeks to 3 months after the first dose.
- For individuals over 13 years of age: The second dose should ideally be given between 4 to 8 weeks after the first dose.
