Recognize the Early Symptoms of Menopause

Menopause is a condition when a woman no longer experiences menstruation. Menopause usually occurs in women aged 40 to 50 years. When menopause occurs, a woman can no longer experience pregnancy naturally. This is because the ovaries or ovaries no longer produce eggs and release egg cells. Before a woman experiences menopause, it will usually be marked by several early symptoms or characteristics of menopause that often occur.

MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Symptoms or characteristics of menopause are seen when women are in the perimenopause period. This is a transition period that lasts for several years before entering menopause. Usually, perimenopause lasts approximately 4 years. However, this does not rule out the possibility that this could happen sooner or later. The symptoms or characteristics of menopause that you need to know include:

    Menstruation becomes irregular

When approaching menopause, women will experience changes in the menstrual cycle which is characterized by irregular menstruation and changes in the cycle. Menstruation which previously had a smooth and regular cycle when entering menopause will come sooner or later with a shorter duration.

    Urinary Tract Disorders

Women who have entered menopause usually find it difficult to hold in urinating, urinate more frequently and cause pain when urinating. This is because the decrease in estrogen levels in the body that occurs before menopause can make women more susceptible to infections, including urinary tract infections (UTI).
Difficulty sleeping or insomnia

Women approaching menopause often have difficulty falling back asleep after waking up in the middle of the night. This is caused by hot flashes, namely a hot sensation that spreads throughout the face, neck and entire body.

    Vagina Becomes Dry

A decrease in the hormones progesterone and estrogen can also cause a decrease in vaginal lubricant production as well as mark the early signs of menopause. This causes the vagina to become dry, uncomfortable or even painful. This condition results in pain that occurs during intimate relations with a partner

    Decreased Sex Drive

Reduced production of reproductive hormones in women can slow down the orgasm reaction process, clitoral reaction and cause vaginal dryness. This condition can cause a decrease in sexual desire in women

Complaints that arise when experiencing menopause are different for each woman. If you experience menopause symptoms that really interfere with your daily activities, don't hesitate to see a doctor to get the right treatment. Healthy greetings, Friend Hermina
