In 1938, the III Women's Congress decided that every December 22 would be celebrated as Mother's Day and it was inaugurated after the enactment of Presidential Decree Number 316 of 1959 by President Soekarno.

As a woman, you will definitely one day become a mother. Therefore, it is very important to maintain the health of reproductive organs because it is related to the continuity of human life from generation to generation.

Reproductive health is not only related to physical, but psychological, mental and social. A person's good understanding of reproductive health can prevent a person from diseases that can arise, such as sexually transmitted infections and prevent infertility.

In general, the way to protect female reproductive organs is to keep the feminine area moist, wear underwear that easily absorbs sweat, diligently change underwear and sanitary napkins during menstruation, and wash hands before and after washing female organs.

For women or mothers who are sexually active, when they are about to have sexual intercourse, it is advisable to urinate and defecate. Unmarried women are expected not to have sexual relations first, not change partners, use contraception, and be open to each other.

The female reproductive organs consist of:
1.Fallopian tubes
The pathway connecting the ovaries and uterus functions to move egg cells
2.Ovaries
Glands that function to produce egg cells, the hormone progesterone, and the hormone estrogen.
3. Vagina
The connecting pathway between the cervix and the outside of the body. The vagina is also the way out for the baby at birth.
4. Womb
The place where the fetus develops during pregnancy.
